Funeral services were held Sunday, March 28 at Hickory Grove church for Mrs. Dietrich Rohrs, who passed to her reward March 25 at her home in Johnson.

Following is the Obituary.
Wilhelmina Kathrina Bohling, daughter of Henry Bohling and his wife Friederika, was born on the 12the of July 1859 in Schwalingen, Germany. There she was baptized in the name of the Triune God. After receiving the necessary instruction she was confirmed on the 2nd day of April 1874 in Neuenkirchen, Germany. She remained true to her confirmation vow unto the end.
In the year 1882 she came to this country to Nemaha County, Nebraska, and made her home with her brother, William Bohling. On April 28, 1884 she was united in marriage with Dietrich Rohrs, the marriage being performed by Pastor Nau, then pastor of the Hickory Grove Lutheran Church. This union was blessed with three sons and one daughter. After her marriage the family home was established 2 miles north and one-half mile east of Rohrs Station, the place now occupied by her son Wm. P. Rohrs. In 1914 she and her husband went to make their home with another son, Henry. About a year later they moved to the place on the east side of the town of Johnson, where she lived until her departure from this life.
Since, on the 22nd of January 1930 her husband was taken from her, after a brief illness she longed to follow him into eternity.
As long as she lived in this country, she was a member of this congregation and even in the last years of her life, when she suffered much because her hearing was very much impaired, she never the less continued to attend services in her church. Often she spoke of being ready to leave this life, if only the Lord would call her. Until that time she wished to live no where else but in her own home.
About 3 weeks ago she was taken seriously ill, but recovered again. Again on March 2nd of this year she was taken ill, and this time she was not to regain her former strength. On March 6th she par took of Holy Communion and was now ready to depart in peace. However it was the will of her Lord that she wait a few weeks longer. During this time she suffered much, and repeatedly expressed the wish to die. On Maundy Thursday, March 25th, at 1:15 P.M. the Lord answered her prayers, and called her away from this vale of sorrow to himself in heaven. She attained the age of 77 years, 8 months and 13 days. She leaves to mourn her departure, her four children,
C. D. Fred Rohrs; Henry W. Rohrs, both of Johnson, 20 grandchildren, two aged brothers, Mr. Fred Bohling, Sr., and Mr. Wm. Bohling Sr., both of Auburn and a number of other relatives.
May she rest in peace.
