Daniel Rarick was the son of Anthony Rarick and Barbara Hoy.

He was a farmer in Harlem Township, Delaware County, Ohio,

He married Hannah Davidson on Apr 24, 1823, in Bloom Township, Fairfield County, Ohio.

They were the parents of two sons, Philip and Joseph Rarick, and three daughters,
Lucinda Rarick, Diana Rarick Connett, and Edith Rarick Leak.

Hannah Davidson was the daughter of James Davidson, Sr.,

who died in Bloom Township, Fairfield County, Ohio, in 1823-1824,

 after daughter Hannah's marriage to Daniel Rarick.
