Mary A. Hoy

 

Miss Mary A. Hoy, 91, a retired beautician and homemaker,

died Tuesday, March 26, 1991, in the home of

Mr. and Mrs. Gary Shafer of Bellefontaine at 12:50 p.m.

She had formerly resided at 10109 Road 77, De Graff.

 

She was born in Logan County July 26, 1899,

the daughter of George and Margaret Weidinger Hoy.

 A graduate of De Graff High School, she attended the Springfield Business College and later worked in Columbus as a

beautician for many years.

 

Miss Hoy was a member of the Constance Chapter 78, O.E.S.,

and the UMW of the Rum Creek United Methodist Church.

 

 She also was a member of Pleasant Grange 2124.

 Her only survivor is a cousin, Donald Spangler of Stoutsville.

 

Two brothers, John and Harold Hoy, preceded her in death.

Friends may call at the Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home

in De Graff Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m.

The Rev. Larry Shetenhelm will conduct graveside services in the

Greenwood-Union Cemetery Friday at 11 a.m.

 brother, John Hoy. survived by wife, Florence (Hartman);

 sister, Mary Hoy, De Graff, Ohio.

 

 Member Central College Presbyterian Church. Graduate

of Ohio Northern School of Pharmacy.

50 Year Member University Lodge F&AM. Ancient and

Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Columbus, Aladdin Shrine,

Tri-Village Shrine Breakfast Club.

50 year member United Commercial Travelers.

 

Friends may call at the Hill Funeral Home, 220 S. State St.,

 Westerville, 2-6 p.m. Friday, where service will be held 10:30 a.m.

Saturday at Rexer-Riggen-Madden Funeral Home, De Graff, Ohio,

where friends may call 1 hour prior to service.

Interment Greenwood Union Cemetery, De Graff, Ohio.
