M. K. (Max) Hoy

Former Farmer

Dies in Bronx

Marion Kissinger (Max) Hoy, 64, of Helen Avenue,

died yesterday at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital,

New York City, after a brief illness.

Mr. Hoy was a Cortland resident for 55 years, where he

farmed and then ran a trucking business.

He was born November 3, 1900, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania,

son of the late Daniel F. and Sarah (Kissinger) Hoy.

He was a member of Cortlandville Lodge 470 F&AM and

Cortlandville Grange.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Delta I. Hoy; two sons, Raymond C.

Hoy and Richard C. Hoy, all of Cortland; two daughters,

Mrs. Martha H. Dalley of Cortland and Mrs. Irene Peck of

Woodland, California; one brother, Alfred E. Hoy of Clyde;

one sister, Mrs. Milton Totman of Cortland; 10 grandchildren,

and two nieces and one nephew.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m., at Beard

Memorial Home, the Rev. Charles N. Geisler, pastor of
North Presbyterian Church officiating.

Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Homer.

Friends may call Friday from 7 to 9 p.m., at the memorial home.
