George Arthur Seigal
George Arthur Seigal was born February 8, 1880, in Lawrence County Missouri, to Jacob and Mary Ballah Seigal.
He was one of 12 children. He was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother and his parents. He joined the Methodist Church as a young man and served as a deacon for several years in Oklaha, Oklahoma.
He was married to Ida Mae Combs on July 25, 1901. To this union were born nine children all living. Three sons and six daughters, Earl, Walter, Charles, Lottie, Sylvia, Velma, Minnie, Marjory and Maxine. His wife passed away, February 22, 1925.
He passed away in the Gordon Home on November 30, 1952, at the age of 72 years, 9 months and 22 days after a long illness.
He has lived in Pawnee City for the last 20 years in the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Brown.
He leaves to mourn his passing besides his immediate family his twin brother, Jim Seigal, Phoenix, Arizona, Ed Seigal, Sanford, Colorado, Ralph Seigal, Muskogee, Oklahoma, Frans Seigal, Bakersfield, California, Mrs. Laura Bockus, North Platte, Nebraska, Mrs. Bertha Scism, Westville, Oklahoma, 33 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren
