Mrs. George Seigal

Ida Terrel Combs, was born in Taney County, Missouri, December 2, 1885. Her father died September 25, 1887. She lived with her mother until she married to George Seigal in June 1901. To this union nine children were born.

 

She lived in Pawnee county nine years and a few months ago moved with her family to Oklaha, Oklahoma, where she passed away, February 23, 1925. She had been in failing health for about five years.

 

She is survived by her husband, six daughters, Mrs. Ralph Brown of Pawnee City, Sylvia, Velma, Minnie, Margie and Maxine, and three sons, Carl of Pawnee City, Walter and Charles; other relatives are Mrs. C. H. Bockus, a sister Mrs. Walter Colson; two half brothers, John and Ernest Bockus, and a half-sister, Mrs. Gertie Schnepp, all of Pawnee City, and one brother, Arthur Combs, of Branson, Missouri.

 

Mrs. Seigal was a woman of fine character and a faithful wife and loving mother, and had a large circle of friends who will mourn her departure.

 

She joined the Methodist church at Lawrence, Missouri, but when she came to Pawnee City transferred her membership to the Christian church and was a faithful follower of Christ until her death.

She was laid to rest at Oklaha, Oklahoma
