AGRA — Edward J. Fink Jr., 73, Agra, died Wednesday, December 29, 2004. Mr. Fink was born December 7, 1931, in Kensington. He was a retired mechanic at Tamko Roofing Products, Phillipsburg. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, in 1996. Survivors include a step-daughter, Ethel Bruch of Kingman; three brothers, Ralph of Phillipsburg, Robert of McPherson, and Louie of Loveland, Colorado; two sisters, Betty Davis of Anna, Illinois, and Irene Tucker of Fort Smith, Arkansas; and two grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, 1115 Second, Phillipsburg 67661. Burial will be in Agra Cemetery, with military honors by Agra American Legion Post No. 357. Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church or Hospice Services. Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until the service Monday at the funeral home

Dorothy Fink
Dorothy Louise Fink, daughter of Claude and Lillian Helm Vaughn, was born September 29, 1930 in Augusta and died Saturday, April 27, 1996 in the Prairie Haven Nursing Home, Kensington at the age of 65. On October 29, 1965 she was united in marriage to Edward Fink Jr., in Agra. She was a resident of Agra for 30 years. Dorothy worked as a nurse’s aide in nursing homes. Survivors include her husband, Edward Fink Jr. of the home, Agra; one son, Claude Dunsworth, Topeka; two daughters; Ethel Bruch, Kingman and Raylene; one sister, Doris Kreisel, Fall River, one half sister, Alice Greer, Wichita; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Dorothy will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 1 at 10 a. m. in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel with Pastor Joel Hiesterman officiating. Russell and Carol Rose sang “What A Friend,” “He Leadeath Me” and “The Old Rugged Cross” accompanied by Janet Hoverson. Casket bearers were: Max Schick, Alancy Price, Calvin Boethin, Bob Moore, Jay Brandon and Alfred Ducharm. Interment was in Agra Cemetery, Agra. Arrangements were handled by Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel.
