John Fink

John Fink who had been aliening for a short time, was summoned by death at his home on Reeder Street, Monday evening at 6:30 o'clock.

The funeral services will be conducted at the home, Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. The remains will be buried in Linwood Cemetery.

Mr. Fink was born in Baden, Germany, December 6, 1851 and came to this county settling at Sherril when he was 6 years old. He was married March 26, 1879 to Miss Mary Hartman in Zwingle who with their three daughters, Mrs. C. J. Smith, Mrs. Julius Dress and Miss Eva Fink, all of this city, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Welty, Zwingle and three brothers, William of Zwingle, Leonard, Logan, Kansas and Nicholas, Mason, South Dakota, and two grandchildren survive him.

Mr. Fink had resided in this city for the past thirty years and had been employed at the Farley Leather plant for twenty years. He was a member of the Emmanuel Congregation church and the Modern Woodmen of America, Dubuque camp No. 954.

Funeral services at the residence 1354 Reeder Street, Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock by the Rev. David L. Berger. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery.
