Died At 83

Clarence W. Hoy, 83, retired farmer, died November 23

in his home here.

He was born January 7, 1891 in Nance county. His parents were

the late Mr. and Mrs. Rush J. Hoy. In 1916, he married

Blanche Maybon.

He is survived by two sons, Donald Hoy and Kenneth Hoy of Fullerton.

Five brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.

Funeral services were conducted November 26 in Fullerton

Memorial Chapel by the Rev. Lisle E. Mewmaw, pastor of

the Fullerton United Methodist Church.

Burial was in the Fullerton Cemetery.

Donald A. HOY

FULLERTON - Donald A. Hoy, 80, of Fullerton died July 11

at his home.

Services were July 15 at Palmer's Funeral home in Fullerton, Rev.

Mary McQueen officiated. Burial was in the Fullerton Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Lester Neumiller, Henry Bigge, Virgil Knopik,

Virgil Dubas, Max Swanson, John Iwan, Homer Horn, Paul Smith

and John Morgan.

Mr. Hoy was born September 5, 1917, in Nance County to Clarence

and Blanche (Maybon) Hoy.

He attended rural Nance County schools and graduated from

Fullerton High School in 1935. He worked in Idaho for several years.

He returned to Nebraska and worked as a carpenter with his brother.

He retired in 1980.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church and the

Fullerton Senior Center.

He enjoyed hunting.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth.

Survivors include several cousins, Myrle Maybon of Aurora,

Mrs. Max (Fredabelle) Swanson of Fullerton and Mrs. Walter
(Fern) Larson of Genoa and Doris Maybon of Fullerton.

Kenneth HOY

Died May 14

Kenneth D. Hoy, 64, lifetime resident here, died May 14 in the

Veterans Hospital in Grand Island where he had been a patient

since May 10. He farmed until 1959 when he moved into

Fullerton and engaged in carpentry work. He never married.

He was born on November 13, 1919, to the late Clarence W.

and Blanche (Maybon) Hoy. He was a 1937 graduate of
Fullerton High School. He served in the Army during World War II,

from December 30, 1941 to November 27, 1945, with serve

overseas in the New Guinea campaign, the Philippine liberation

and in the Asiatic-Pacific area. He was a member of the United

Methodist Church and the American Legion Post here.

Surviving are a brother, Donald Hoy of Fullerton, and

several cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a. m. on Thursday

by Rev. Audrey Scott, pastor of the United Methodist Church, in

Palmer's Funeral Chapel here. There will be visitation at the

Funeral Chapel, from 2 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday.

Burial, with military graveside rites, will be in the Fullerton Cemetery.
