FRANK HOY DIES

 

 

Frank Hoy, 64, farmer living north of Fullerton, was found dead by a

neighbor on Friday of last week and it was believed that

 he had died suddenly the day before.

A bachelor, Hoy lived alone on his farm and

had been in failing health.

He was a son of the late R. J. Hoy of Fullerton,

a well-known auctioneer.

Surviving are his two brothers, Clarence and Dexter of Fullerton

 and one sister, Mrs. Ralph Barber, of Fullerton.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the

Beaman & Palmer Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Funk of the Methodist church in charge.

Burial was made in the Fullerton Cemetery.

 

Obituary

Frank D. Hoy

Frank D. Hoy, son of Rush J. and Mary Hoy, was born

March 17, 1886, at Naperville, Illinois, and died suddenly at his

farm home northeast of Belgrade, August 24, 1950, aged 64 years,

5 months and 7 days.

He came to Fullerton with his parents when a small boy to a farm

seven miles north of Fullerton. He attended Fairview Methodist church near his home. He moved to Bismarck, North Dakota, in 1917 and later took up a homestead at Graceton, Minnesota, he lived there until the spring of 1933 when he came back to Fullerton locating on the farm which he lived until the time of his death.

He was never married.

He leaves to mourn their loss, one sister, Luella A. Barber, and two

brothers, Clarence W. Hoy and Dexter J. Hoy, all of Fullerton, Five

nieces and six nephews and other relatives and friends mourn his passing. His father, mother, three sisters and four brothers

proceeded him in death.
