Mrs. Louise Crippen
Mrs. Louis Crippen died at the Tecumseh Care Center in Tecumseh Friday morning, October 19, at the age of 86 years, 8 months and 3 days. She was born at Gaylord, Kansas, February 16,1887, to Ferdinand and Ella (Johnson) Kiel. The family moved to a farm south of Johnson, where she lived until her marriage to Frederick W. Gebers of Johnson, January 24, 1904. They made their home on a farm northwest of the Martin Luther church. Later they moved to the Brock community. After her husbands death, she came to Tecumseh and worked as a practical nurse. She married Frank E. Crippen of Omaha, September 20, 1946. For 20 years, she was a member of the St. John's Lutheran church of Tecumseh. Survivors include three sons, Walter and Theodore Gebers of Tecumseh and Frederick of Tarzana, California, a daughter, Mrs. Forrest (Lenar) Morrissey of Tecumseh, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and a sister, Hattie Caspers of West Yellowstone, Montana. Funeral services were held in St. John's Lutheran church Sunday afternoon with Rev. Karl Weinrich officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Conrad Deubler, Charles Hagelback, Ed Kuhl, Ernest Schaefer, Fred Guenther and William Meyer. Interment was in the Martin Luther church cemetery, south of Johnson.

Former Johnson Woman Expires
Marie Louise Crippen of Tecumseh died October 19 at the Tecumseh Care Center following a long period of ill health.
Born February 16, 1897 at Gaylord, Kansas, she was a daughter of Ferdinand and Ella (Johnson) Kiel. The family lived on a farm south of Johnson until her marriage to Frederick W. Gebers. The lived near Martin Luther church before moving to Brock. After Mr. Gebers death she lived at Tecumseh, where she worked as a practical nurse.
She was later married to Frank E. Crippen of Omaha, and was a member of St. John's Lutheran church at Tecumseh.
She is survived by three sons, Walter and Theodore of Tecumseh, and Frederick of Tarzana, California, a daughter, Mrs. Forrest Morrissey of Tecumseh; three grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Hattie Caspers of West Yellowstone, Montana.
Funeral services were held October 21 at St. Johns Lutheran church, Tecumseh, with burial in Martin Lutheran church cemetery south of Johnson.

Mrs. Lulu Gebers, formerly of Auburn, was married to Frank E. Crippen of Omaha at Lovelock, Nevada, September 20th by the Reverend R. H. Timberlake at the Grace Methodist Church. Mrs. Crippen just completed. a two month visit with her sister at West Yellowstone, Montana. Mr. and Mrs. Crippen motored to San Francisco, where the visited her son, who was married June 30th to Miss Ruth Hurych of San Francisco. They will visit Mr. Crippen's daughter in Los Angeles and other places on the coast
