Marvin Miner, 65

Services Wednesday

Services for Marvin C. Miner, 65, of 3529 Morrie Ave., will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, in the Masonic Temple, with Wyoming Consistory No. 1 officiating and assisted by the Rev. Eugene Rowbotham.

 He died Sunday in Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Bushnell, Nebraska, and had lived at Cheyenne for 60 years. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for 18 years,

and then was a postal railway clerk for the Post Office for 28 years,

 retiring in June of 1972.

Miner was an Army veteran of World War II, and a member of the First Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge No. 1, Wyoming Consistory,

Korein Shrine, Cheyenne Shrine Club, Cheyenne York Rite,

Order of Amaranth, American Legion Post 6, and VFW Post 1881.

Pallbearers will be Henry Grunden, Robert Stansbury, Earl Bain, Richard Stief, Harold Larabee and Donald Roush.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Norvell Tull, Eddie Zeman, Alfred Retzlaff, Gus Weinschenker, Carl Galt and Rinnie Dietz.
Burial will be in Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include his wife, Della Miner; two sisters, Mrs. Hollis Ohm,

Mrs. Margie Staley, of Las Vegas, a brother, Donald Miner , of San Diego; a nephew, Dick Miner, of Aloha, Oregon, and two nieces,

Betty Meares, of Las Vegas, and Carol Rohrs of Fairfax, Virginia.
