Mr. and Mrs. William Wallenberg received word Wednesday morning that their daughter, Corrine Potts passed away that morning at Macey.  Mr. and Mrs. Wallenberg left immediately to attend the funeral.

Corrine Potts Wallenberg was born March 14, 1915 at Deweese, Nebraska. When a few years of age, moved to Fairfield with her parents. She lived here until her marriage. She was graduated from the Fairfield High School and taught school in Nuckolls county one term.

She was united in marriage to Woodrow Potts of Macey, Nebraska in the year 1935. To this union was born two children, Barbara Louise and Gary Dee. Barbara preceded her mother in death just 18 days, at the age of 3 years, 6 months and 3 days. Mrs. Potts leaves to mourn her departure, her husband Woodrow Potts and Macey, son Gary Dee; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Wallenberg; three brothers, Carl of Newport, Rhode Island, William and George of Fairfield; four sisters, Mrs. Ivy Shaw, Mrs. Vera Shunkwiler of Fairfield, Fern Hoyt of Clay Center and Avis Woods of Blue Hill.

 Burial was made at Decatur, Nebraska.

Woodrow Wilson Potts, 63, 215 Kansas Ave., died Wednesday

in a Sioux City hospital.

 

Mr. Potts was born January 17, 1915, at Decatur, Nebraska.

He was a World War II veteran and was a retired construction worker.

 

Services will be at 2:30 p.m., Friday in the Munderloh Funeral Home in Walthill, Nebraska. The Reverend Russell Maryott will officiate.
Burial will be in the Decatur Cemetery.

 

Survivors include a son, Gary of Sioux City; and a daughter, Miss

Shannon Potts of Sioux City; three brothers, John and Fred, both

of Walthill and Jess of Omaha; and six sisters, Mrs. Frank (Octavia)

Jenkins of Dakota City, and Mrs. Nola Hightree, Mrs. Peggy Nelson, Mrs. Mary McClain and Mrs. Nettie Butrous, all of Omaha and Mrs. Stella Gilson of Walthill.
