Hazel Walker, 76, 1145 South St., died Monday, February 1,

1982. Hazel was a member of Piedmont Park Adventist Church.

Survivors include, a brother, Ivan Wingert, Columbia Falls, Montana; and 4 sisters, Mrs. Bertha Garn, Dallas, Texas,

Mrs. Edna Meriwether, Ralston, Nebraska, 
Mrs. Iona Bryant, Mountain Grove, Missouri and

Mrs. Dorothy Prowant, Lincoln; nieces and nephews.

Services, 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, Metcalf Funeral Home, 245

N. 27th St. Elder Anthony Wessels officiating.

Pallbearers: Don and Ron Prowant, Larry Dunham, Gene Schander, Virgil Carner and Charles Simonds.

Interment at College View Cemetery.

Mrs. Mary L. Korus

 

Mrs. Mary L. Korus, 92,  of 2127 P Street, died Friday,

March 9, 1962. She had lived in Lincoln 79 years.

She is survived by her 3 son's, Edward, Joseph and James;

and her daughter, Mrs. Vane Small, all of Lincoln.,

3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral and burial, 9:30 a.m., Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic

Church near H. B. Hart Calvary Cemetery. Rosary 7:00 p.m.,

Sunday at Hodgman - Splain Funeral Home.

Howard P. Walker

Howard Paul Walker, 56, of Leisure Home, died

early Friday at York General Hospital.

Mr. Walker was born October 5, 1918, in York County,

the son of Claude and Catherine (Cross) Walker.

A 1941 graduate of York College, Mr. Walker had been

employed by the state of California as water resource

engineer, with the atomic energy plant at Richland,

Washington, and with the Alaska Road Commission at

Juneau and Valdez.

He had returned to live in York in April of 1970 from California.

Survivor's include his wife, the former Miss Hazel M. Wingert,

to whom he was married April 27, 1957, and a brother,

Donald of Pearl Blossom, California. He was preceded in

death by his parents.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Metz Chapel with

V.L. Heglund officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill

Cemetery west of Benedict. The family has suggested

memorials to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
