Arthur Freeze

Arthur Freeze was born near Sumner on the C. D. Brink place which

is now owned by Joe Eutelar, January 17, 1900. He moved with his

parents north of Sumner to the place where they now live.

He was an honest boy and a lover of home. He was married to

Bertha Bell Wingert, March 24, 1926. They have made their home

on their farm north of Sumner since their marriage. To this union

was born three children all of which are girls, Alberta May, age 6,

Mary Louise, age 4 and Violet Lorena, age 2.

He took sick with a cold at his home Saturday, February 24, and

gradually grew worse until pneumonia developed and he was

removed from his home to the Good Samaritan hospital at Kearney

Wednesday evening February 29.

His wife, father and mother stayed with him at the hospital during his

last days here, doing all in their power to help relieve his suffering.

He passed away at the Good Samaritan hospital at 1:30 p.m.,

March 4, 1934 at the age of 34 years, 1 month and 17 days. He

went to join two sisters and one brother who died in infancy.

He leaves to mourn his beloved wife, Bertha Freeze, and three

small daughters, Alberta, Mary and Violet; his father and mother,

Mr. and Mrs. Noah Freeze of Sumner; his sister Eva Rollings

and family of Sumner; a brother, Walter Freeze and family of

Percival, Iowa, a brother, Elmer Freeze and family of Sumner;

a sister Della Livingston and family of Overton; a sister Alma

Schipp of Shreve, Ohio; a brother, Roy Freeze, who still

resides at home and a host of friends.

Obituary

Albert Vath

Albert Vath, age 89 years 1001 South Street, died

Sunday, May 31, 1992. Albert was a retired section hand,

at Burlington Northern Railroad. He was born in Dorchester,

Nebraska and was a member of the Capital View Seventh

Day Adventist Church. Survivor's: daughters, Florence and

Doris and nephew, nieces; great-nieces, nephews.

Graveside services: 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, Lincoln

Memorial Park. No visitation. Roper and Son's Mortuary,

4300 O Street.
