IONA ADELLA BRYANT

Funeral services for Iona Adella Bryant were held Thursday,

December 6, 2007 at the funeral chapel with Tom Dye officiating.

Burial was in the Cabool Cemetery under the direction of

Elliot-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home of Cabool, Missouri.

Iona Adella Bryant, 88, Springfield, Missouri and formerly of the

Cabool-Mountain Grove Area, passed away Tuesday,

December 4, 2007at Christian Health Care of Springfield East.

She was born on February 22, 1919 in Lincoln, Nebraska

the daughter of Bert and Carrie (Kline) Wingert.

She was united in marriage to Earl R. Bryant on

November 26, 1941 at Hartville, Missouri.

They raised their family in the Cabool-Mountain Grove communities.

Iona was a member of the Whetstone Baptist Church

(formerly the Mountain Grove Baptist Temple).

Iona was preceded in death by her parents; her husband,

Earl and all of her siblings.

She is survived by her children, Eloise (Bonnie) Ridenour

Summers of McCook, Nebraska, George Earl Bryant

of Springfield, Missouri and Iona Faye Glenn of Rogersville, Missouri; grandchildren, Delbert and Velora of Nebraska,

Mark, Randy, Christopher, Michael,

John, Kathleen and Deborah all of Missouri

and Ronna, Ercie and James of Stillwater, Oklahoma;

numerous great and great-great grandchildren;

and many other relatives and friends.

She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
