Roush - Kaiser

Miss Orene Rousch and Ludwig Kaiser were married at the Zion Lutheran Parsonage at Ogden, Iowa  at 7:30 Wednesday evening February 23, 1944.  Miss Roush is the daughter of Mr. Alfred Roush of Benton Iowa. Mr. Ludwig Kaiser is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kaiser of Phillipsburg, Kansas

The bride wore a floor length dress of teal blue and the groom wore a suit of dark brown.

The groom  is employed as an oil pumper for Thomas Allan and they will make their home ona lease northwest of Phillipsburg.

Ludwig Kaiser

Ludwig Kaiser, 91, Phillipsburg, died Monday, Aug. 6, 2007, at

Phillips County Retirement Center, Phillipsburg.

He was born Dec. 26, 1915, in Phillips County to Fred and Margaret (Bach) Kaiser in Phillipsburg.

He married Orene A. Roush on February 23, 1944, in Ogden, Iowa. She preceded him in death September 15, 2000. He was a farmer.

Survivors include a nephew, Wyann Kaiser, Chesapeake, Virginia, and a niece, Cheryl Keesee, Phillipsburg.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church, Phillipsburg; burial in Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Stuttgart.

Visitation will be until 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.

Memorials are suggested to Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery Fund in care of the funeral home.
