Wingert Rites Set Saturday

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the Grace Lutheran Church at Sumner for Mrs. Arthur (Wilheminia) Wingert of Sumner, a long-time resident of Dawson County. She was 85.

Mrs. Wingert died at the Broken Bow hospital after an illness of one week.

Interment will be in the cemetery at Miller, the Rev. Gary Fortkamp officiating. The Overton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Wilhelmina Eltiste was born at Auburn, the daughter of Paul and Barbara Eltiste, Sr. She came to Dawson county as a young woman and on March 11, 1915, was married to Arthur Wingert. They had been residents of Sumner the past 15 years.

Her husband, Arthur; one daughter, Mrs. Ruby Pryce of Broken Bow; sister, Mrs. Sophia Kaiser of Phillipsburg, Kansas; two brothers, Paul Eltiste of Sumner and Herman Eltiste of Auburn; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren survive her.
