MARRIED – At the residence of
the bride’s parents, Monday October 1, 1883, by Reverend Lawler. Mr. Dewitt
Palmer of Nemaha county and Miss Martha V. Grant of Stella were United in
marriage.
The wedding
was a quite affair with none but relatives being present, and the happy
couple at once entered upon the duties of married life in our midst.
Stella has never met with an experience of this kind, this being the first
couple ever married in the town. The Tribune joins with many friends in
wishing them all the happiness they deserve
