in Presence of Relatives

Throughout the County

 The marriage of Miss Edna Rohrs to Mr. Paul Eltiste

took place at the parsonage of the Avenue M. E. church

at ten o'clock yesterday morning. The ceremony was

performed by Dr. P. Van Fleet in the presence of only a

few relatives of the bride and groom. The news of the

wedding will be a surprise to most of the friends of the

newly married couple.

The bride is a daughter of former Sheriff Fred Rohrs, and

having been raised in Auburn is well known and by all who

share her acquaintance she is known as a most excellent

young woman possessed of many noble qualities.  She has been

prominent in church and social circles and will be missed by

those with whom she has been thus closely associated.

The groom is a son of Fred Eltiste, one of the best known and

most substantial farmers of the county. He is a young man of

true worth, excellent habits and great industry. He owns a

fine farm near Johnson and it is there that he and his bride

make their future home, having left for that place shortly

after the marriage ceremony was performed.

The young couple have the heartiest congratulations of all

their friends. The Herald joins with them in these congratulations

and in the hope that Mr. and Mrs. Eltiste will in the years

to come find an abundance of peace, happiness and prosperity.
