Death of Mrs. Miller
Mrs. Marguerite Miller died at her home in this city Monday evening at 9:30 at the age of 69 years, 1 month and 12 days. She was ill but a short time and her death was quite a shock.
Mrs. Miller was born in Germany and came to this county when she was about 13 years of age. After her marriage she lived for a number of years in Kansas, about 17 years in Johnson and at different places in this state coming to Auburn about 14 years ago where she has since made her home and where she had acquired a wide circle of friends who mourn her departure.
She is survived by seven children, Mrs. Anna Weigel of Hanover, Kansas; Mrs. Christine Wallenberg, Deweese, Nebraska; Mrs. Matilda Mook, Kansas City; Mrs. Marguerite Jones, Kansas City; Mrs. Emma Ross, Auburn, Nebraska; Mrs. Minnie Preston, Auburn, Nebraska and August Miller of Hanover, Kansas. There are also 24 grandchildren and one great-grandchild besides a brother and sister. The funeral was held from the home at 1 o’clock Thursday afternoon and the remains were laid to rest in Sheridan cemetery.

After an extended illness Mrs. Margaret Miller, aged 69 years, 1 month and 12 days, died at her home in this city on Monday, September 26th.
She had resided in Auburn for a number of years and is survived by three children, Mrs. William Ross and Mrs. Horace Preston of Auburn and another daughter who lives in Kansas City. The funeral services occurred at the home at 520 Eleventh Street at 1 o’clock, Thursday Afternoon. Burial was at Sheridan cemetery.
